The Bullet

The Bullet tells the story of Jerry Price, a detective whose partner and closest friend, Paul Gardner, is killed in a shootout. Two years later, Paul returns from the dead to tell Jerry that the bullet was meant for Jerry, instead, and things must be made right. Jerry now has to make a decision that will effect more than his life alone.

Originally a radio drama by mystery cinema writer Sam Dann, now for the first time adapted to screen by his son Joshua Dann, this is a film that’s been forty years in the making--a timeless story that deserves a chance to be told.

The Bullet is shot film noir style with low-key lighting and high contrast images to better portray the stresses and tensions the characters live thru.

Our Director

Sherwin Binguan had his start with action sports photography, particularly mountain biking. He proceeded to study cinematography at UCLA Extension and immediately fell in love with narrative filmmaking and screenwriting. Sherwin finds his work greatly influenced by the films of Roman Polanski, Terrance Malick, Derek Cianfrance. Some of his previous work includes music videos, commercials and webisodes.
