The Bullet
The Bullet tells the story of Jerry Price, a detective whose partner and closest friend, Paul Gardner, is killed in a shootout. Two years later, Paul returns from the dead to tell Jerry that the bullet was meant for Jerry, instead, and things must be made right. Jerry now has to make a decision that will effect more than his life alone.
Originally a radio drama by mystery cinema writer Sam Dann, now for the first time adapted to screen by his son Joshua Dann, this is a film that’s been forty years in the making--a timeless story that deserves a chance to be told.
The Bullet is shot film noir style with low-key lighting and high contrast images to better portray the stresses and tensions the characters live thru.
